This Refund & Return Policy outlines all rules for returns, exchanges, defective items, refunds processing and eligibility for all orders placed on knockarounds.it.com. This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By placing an order, you agree to all rules below.

1. General Return Eligibility

1.1 Return Time Window

You have 30 calendar days starting from the day your package is marked delivered by the courier to submit a return request.

Requests submitted after the 30-day window will automatically be rejected with no exceptions.

1.2 Condition Requirements for Returns

Items are only accepted for return or refund if they meet all of the following standards:

  • Unworn, unmarked, no scratches on lenses or frames
  • Original factory packaging, branded case, cleaning cloth, tags and all included accessories intact
  • No damage caused by user misuse, drops, chemical cleaners or custom modifications
  • Not altered, scratched, bent or stained

If items arrive at our warehouse damaged, worn or missing original packaging, we will refuse the return and ship the goods back to you at your cost.

1.3 Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items

The below categories cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded under any circumstance:

  1. Custom prescription sunglasses / optical frames (customised to your individual vision parameters)
  2. Limited-edition collabs clearly marked “Final Sale” on product page or checkout
  3. All digital & physical gift cards, store credit
  4. Clearance outlet products labelled non-refundable
  5. Items damaged by customer improper use, accidents or self-repair attempts

2. How to Submit a Return Request

Follow these steps to start your return:

  1. Log into your account and open your order history
  2. Select the relevant order and click “Request Return”
  3. Fill in the return reason and submit the application
  4. Wait for our support team to approve within 1–2 business days
  5. Once approved, you will receive an email with a pre-paid return label (Italy domestic orders only) and full return shipping instructions

If you do not have a registered account, email support@knockarounds.it.com with your order number, full name and delivery address to apply.

3. Return Shipping Fees

Domestic Orders (Italy)

Free pre-paid return shipping label provided for all eligible returns. No extra cost to you.

EU Countries & International Orders

Return shipping charges are fully covered by the customer, including courier fees, customs charges and transit insurance. We do not provide free return labels for cross-border orders.

Only exceptions: items shipped incorrectly by our warehouse or factory defective goods. In these cases we will cover all return shipping costs.

Packages Refused / Undeliverable

If you refuse delivery, provide an incorrect address or miss multiple delivery attempts leading the parcel to be returned to us:

  • Original shipping fees will be deducted from your final refund amount
  • If you wish the item to be resent, you must pay a new re-delivery charge

4. Defective, Damaged or Wrong Items Upon Arrival

If your order arrives broken, scratched, faulty, or you receive an incorrect product:

  1. Take clear photos of the outer packaging, shipping label and damaged/wrong merchandise within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Send photos + your order number to support@knockarounds.it.com
  3. Our team will review your case within 2 working days

Two resolution options for verified defective/wrong shipments:

  1. Free replacement unit sent out immediately, all return shipping covered by us
  2. Full complete refund (including original shipping cost) issued back to your payment method

5. Refund Processing Rules

5.1 Approved Standard Returns

After our warehouse receives and inspects your returned goods:

  • Refund will be processed within 3–7 business working days
  • Funds will be returned to your original payment account (credit card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay etc.)
  • Standard returns do NOT include reimbursement of original outbound shipping fees

5.2 Full Refund Scenarios (All Costs Reimbursed)

You receive full refund of product price + original delivery fee if:

  • Item arrived factory defective
  • We shipped the wrong product, size or colour
  • Order was cancelled before dispatch
  • Pre-order delay exceeds 90 calendar days and you choose to cancel

5.3 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply in the following situations:

  • Missing original packaging or accessories (deduction applied based on accessory value)
  • Minor cosmetic damage found during warehouse inspection
  • Return submitted late with special approval from customer service

5.4 Refund Timeline

After we issue the refund, the speed funds show in your account depends on your payment provider:

  • Cards, digital wallets: 3–7 business days
  • PayPal: 2–5 business days
  • Klarna instalments: Automatically offset against future scheduled payments

We have no control over bank processing delays from your financial institution.

6. Exchange Policy

Instead of a refund, you may request an exchange for another size, colour or style within the 30-day return window.

  • Exchanges are only available for in-stock standard non-final-sale items
  • For domestic Italy exchanges: free return shipping, we cover outbound delivery for the new item
  • EU & international exchange: customer pays both return shipping and new delivery fees If your requested exchange product is out of stock, we will automatically process a full refund instead.

7. Pre-Order Cancellation & Deposit Refunds

  • Pre-order deposit is fully refundable if you cancel before stock arrives at our warehouse
  • Once inventory arrives and we begin processing shipment, deposits become non-refundable
  • If release date is delayed over 90 days, you may cancel your pre-order for a full deposit refund

8. Chargebacks & Unofficial Returns

We do not accept informal returns sent without prior approved return request. Parcels returned without notification will not be processed for refund and may be discarded or returned to sender at your expense.

If you file an unsubstantiated chargeback without contacting our support team to resolve your issue first:

  • Your order refund eligibility will be voided
  • Your account may be restricted or permanently blocked from future purchases

9. Special Cases

Gift Card Purchases

If you receive sunglasses purchased via gift card, any refunds will be credited back as store credit, not cash payout. Original gift card amounts cannot be converted to cash.

Bundle Sets

Returning part of a discounted bundle will result in price adjustment: the bundle discount will be removed, and refund value recalculated at individual standalone product pricing.
